Excitement as Preston Mowgli opens online booking
Online booking is available for Mowgli Street Food prior to the Miller Arcade restaurant opening date.
The famous Indian street food chain will launch in what was previously French Connection on Monday, July 11.
The announcement of the booking on social media drew enthusiastic reactions from locals.
On Twitter, Angela B said, “Never been so excited for opening night at a restaurant before!”
Leigh Altree said: ‘I can’t wait. I already have two reservations for July.
PetersJ posted a Kermit the Frog GIF and added, “I can’t wait. I received vouchers for my birthday in February, so it was a bit long. Roll the 11.
The chain’s Instagram followers had a similar reaction, with many saying they had already made reservations at the new restaurant downtown.
Mowgli owner Nisha Katona, born in Lancashire, announced in September that the chain would come to Preston despite a previous plan to open in St George’s shopping center failing.
In January plans were lodged with Preston City Council to alter the exterior of the Grade II listed property.
