IPL 2022 Ticket Availability Date: Ticketing for the Indian Premier League 2022 is not yet open to the general public.
With just a few days left for the start of the Indian Premier League’s upcoming 15th season, increased hype around the biggest T20 tournament across the globe is completely understandable.
While the availability of foreign players in squads, combinations regarding respective Playing XI franchises, fixtures and jerseys are among the most discussed topics, ticket booking is another topic that has become a fan favorite.
IPL 2022 Ticket Availability Date
All in all, an official update on ticketing details for the general public should have been made by now. A delay in the same does not help the fans to have tickets confirmed or to plan their trip to Mumbai or Pune.
Mumbai, which will host 55 of the 70 IPL 2022 league matches, has an allowance to host these matches with a 25% crowd capacity. On the contrary, an official confirmation regarding Pune is awaited.
Neither the start date of ticket booking nor the mode of ticket booking has left fans puzzled during the week when the tournament is due to kick off in Maharashtra.
Six days until the start of the first game of IPL-2022 and there is no word on ticketing yet.
50% crowd? 25% crowd? Will sponsors get tickets? Will the franchise be assigned a seat share % for home games?

IPL 2022 Online Ticket Booking Platform
It was only yesterday that online ticketing platform BookMyShow uploaded a post regarding IPL 2022 on its social media platforms. Having used a “StadiumPeMilo” hashtag, it was enough to indicate that IPL 2022 tickets would be made available on this platform.

That said, it is still unclear whether BookMyShow will be selling IPL 2022 tickets for all four venues (Wankhede, Brabourne (CCI), DY Patil and Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium) or not.
