New Delhi: In a statement released on Thursday, Rashtrapati Bhavan said the Mughal Gardens will be open to the general public from Saturday, February 12 to March 16.
Is online booking required for Mughal Gardens?
The statement said visitors will only be able to access the Mughal Gardens by making an online reservation in advance.
Reservations can be made at https://rashtrapatisachivalaya.gov.in or https://rb.nic.in/rbvisit/visit_plan.aspx.
“As in the previous year, this year too, walk-in entry will not be available as a precautionary measure,” the statement read.
“The Mughal Gardens will remain open to the general public from February 12, 2022 to March 16, 2022 (except Mondays which are maintenance days) between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (last entry at 4:00 p.m.),” the statement read.
There will be seven pre-booked time slots available between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., he said, noting that the last entry will be at 4 p.m. A maximum of 100 people can be accommodated in each slot.
Visitors are allowed to bring their phone during the visit. However, they are asked not to bring water bottles, briefcases, handbags, women’s handbags, cameras, radios, transistors, boxes, umbrellas, weapons and ammunition and food, the statement said.

a. Not resident of any containment zone
b. Do not suffer from fever, cough and any respiratory disease
vs. Not have been quarantined in the last 3 weeks
D. Not tested positive for COVID-19 in the past three weeks

There is no entrance fee to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan Mughal Garden. The Mughal Gardens are free to enter.
What is special about the Mughal garden?
The main attraction of this year’s ‘Udyanotsav’ will be 11 varieties of tulips that will bloom in stages throughout February.
Also on display will be flower carpets decorated with beautiful patterns on the center lawn, according to the statement.
The dominant color palette of ornamental flowers for this year is white, yellow, red and orange. In addition, a small cactus corner has been set up in the gardens with some air purifying plants.
Rashtrapati Bhavan’s annual “Udyanotsav” was opened by President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday.
Various points along the public road provide hand sanitisers, drinking water, toilets and first aid/medical facilities.
He said visitors are required to follow COVID-19 protocols such as wearing masks and maintaining social distancing while visiting.
According to the statement, visitors will be required to undergo thermal screening at the entry point and will not be allowed to enter without a mask.
Visitors will enter and exit the Presidential Estate through Gate No. 35, near where North Avenue meets Rashtrapati Bhavan.
