Nobu Hotel Announces Hotel in Rome : Business Traveler USA

The luxury property, set to open in summer 2022, is a transformation of the Grand Hotel Via Veneto

Rome is set to welcome the new Nobu Roma Hotel and Restaurant, Nobu Hospitality’s first hotel in Italy, scheduled to open in the summer of 2022. The property is a transformation of the Grand Hotel Via Veneto, with 122 rooms and suites housed in two 19th-century buildings on the city’s legendary Via Veneto.

The new Nobu Hotel is a collaboration between Nobu Hospitality – the luxury brand founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro and director Meir Teper – and Carlo Acampora, CEO of Grand Hotel Via Veneto.

The property includes a green rooftop terrace, indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, a full-service spa, fitness center, and exclusive club lounge. The hotel will also house the city’s second Nobu restaurant, which will also offer 24-hour in-room dining.

Nobu Hospitality’s portfolio currently includes 13 hotels. Last year, the group opened hotels in Chicago and Warsaw, and plans to add more properties in destinations including Hamburg, Marrakech and Tel Aviv.
