We are so excited! – Hotel

Did this year seem to pass? I have the impression that this is the case, perhaps more than ever. Maybe that’s because we were all squatting in 2020, and as 2021 emerged with hopes of seeing meetings, events and in-person activities come to fruition, time seemed to speed up. Or, maybe it is just a symptom of aging.

Speaking of getting older, the Hotel brand takes an important step in 2022: it is our 30th anniversary.

And, I would like to think, just as we tell ourselves: we are not only getting older, but we are getting wiser, with even more experienced insight. But like everything that has aged gracefully, sometimes it’s time to reinvent and rethink to stay relevant and fresh.

In 2020, and even until 2021, many companies have taken the time and opportunity to take a step back and assess their mission, value proposition and brand image. While the events of this period took a toll on many businesses, it also provided an opportunity to reflect on where we have been and where we are heading, and consider the best way forward.

And Hotel does just that. While continuing to bring you all the news you rely on, weather the pandemic storm with you, provide industry support and encouragement where we can, the team here has also been fortunate enough. to take stock, so to speak, of our brand, products and platforms. We decided to recreate them and refresh them with a plan to unveil the new Hotel in 2022, just in time for and to celebrate our 30th anniversary.

Now don’t worry. When I say “new” I mean really improved. We are still the same “old” Hotel you know and love. And we will continue to grow and strengthen the mission that we have had for three decades now: to grow and strengthen your businesses. And develop your partnerships and deepen your relationships within the hotel community.

I’m excited to share with you, right here on this page, one of the new – and possibly the most important – elements of the overhaul. Hotel: the logo. So many of you call us HB so affectionately that we have chosen to use the acronym as the primary identifier for the Hotel Business brand. Sleek and modern, we think it’s punchy in its simplicity. And we hope you do too. That being said, the Hotel the name, the leading media brand in our industry, has so much history and weight that we are keeping it as part of our new logo. A tribute to the 30 years behind us; a force for years to come.

And just like the reimagined logo, we’ll be launching a whole new design in the new year, both in print, online and for all of our media brand extensions, which will be classic but contemporary, streamlined but detailed and clean but ” crowded ”with all the news, information, data and reports that you depend on the Hotel Brand. And, everything will be delivered in a user-friendly format to better serve our audience and our advertising partners.

We’re excited to share the redesigns with you in just a few weeks. And, when we do, I can’t wait to hear what you think about it.
